Sage 200cloud – What’s new in the Summer 2018 Enhancement Package!

 The latest version of Sage 200cloud (formally Sage 200C) has been released and it is called Sage 200cloud Summer Enhancement. This Sage update has been built directly from Sage customer feedback and introduces a number of key services to allow users to become more productive on a daily basis. New features that people upgrading to Sage 200clound Summer Enhancements can expect include:

  • Payment Integration
  • Go Cardless Preview
  • Various Sop Enhancements (including Cross Selling and Suggested Items.)
  • Skype and Google Maps integration

Payment Integration

Enhanced Pay Now functionality by adding PayPal and Stripe to Pay Now Feature. This also allows customers to use their accounts to pay invoices with all transactions automatically reconciled to the ledger.

This makes it easier for end customers to pay their invoices, improving your cash flow. Furthermore, automatic reconciliation will save your company time.

Go Cardless Preview

Sage has partnered with GoCardless, a leading Direct Debit provider. This feature allows the scheduling and collection of Direct Debit from within Sage via the Pay Now functionality.

Note: This is a technology preview with enhanced versions being available in future releases.

This allows users to Set Up Direct Debits within invoices and within products using Sage's Pay Now feature.

This removes the pain of late payment for your business and will improve your Cash Flow.

Cross- Selling & Suggested Items

Cross Selling: A prompt in Sage will now show complimentary items that are often sold together.

Suggested Items: A prompt in Sage will show items specific to a customer such as frequently bought, recently bought or preferred items.

These features are designed to speed up the entering of full sales orders.

Furthermore, this allows for increased sales opportunities at the time orders are placed.

Customer Alerts

This feature allows alerts to be configured for specific customers at various points associated with them i.e. when entering an invoice.

This allows users to be displayed with key customer information at key points of interaction with the customer.

Document Capture

Documents can now be attached to purchase invoice and purchase credits! Furthermore, they can be viewed during purchase authorisation. To add a document you can either scan it in, drag it from an email or load it directly from a file.

This feature will improve the auditability for companies who use purchase invoice authorisation.

Skype Integration

Sage has added the ability to Skype customers and suppliers directly from within Sage 200.

This ability allows users to be able to contact businesses directly from within Sage.

Google Maps Integration

You can now view a supplier or customer address using Google Maps. This will appear in a separate browser window.

This feature will allow you to easily locate your customers and obtains directions easily for deliveries.

Spooler Enhancements

Spooler items can now be filtered by report name, user, company, status or date range. On top of that, there is also improved filtering

Allows users to be able to find documents faster within the spooler.
