Students should be comfortable with Autodesk Revit as taught in the Autodesk Revit Architecture Essentials course. Knowledge of basic techniques is assumed, such as creating walls, roofs, and other objects, copying and moving objects, creating and working with views, etc. Attendees should have experience of using the Windows operating system.


This course is designed for intermediate level users of Revit Architecture. This course covers a wide range of intermediate level topics in Revit Architecture, continuing to build on the concepts introduced in the Revit Architecture Essentials course.
Students learn about site design, setting up and managing coordinates, phasing and design options, working with structural components and detailing in Revit. This course offers hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios.

Module 03   Project Set-up and Managing Coordinates
Module 04   Energy Analysis
Module 05   Placing Structural Elements
Module 06   2D Drafting and Annotation detailing in Revit
